EXPERIENCE: September 2001 to present – Michelucci & Associates, Inc.. Geotechnical Consultants, Burlingame, California – Staff Geologist:
  Tasks: Evaluation of site geologic conditions by researching available geologic maps and literature and field exploration. Assist in the preparation of geotechnical reports with accompanying drafting and laboratory test results. Perform inspections and related field testing of in-progress construction work including grading, foundation excavation, surface and subsurface drainage. Preparation of reports and letters summarizing the results of field testing and inspection observations. Direct the drilling and sampling of exploratory borings, specify and perform lab testing on soil samples including unconfined compressive strength, moisture-density, atterberg limits, compaction tests. Assist in the evaluation of the geotechnical condition of various buildings and structures including site conditions, foundations, drainage, building interior and exterior, and site drainage.
